About Wada Hostel
When Wada Hostel opened its doors to travellers in July 2009, we didn’t know what to expect. We loved Guilin and we knew we had a lot of value to offer to travellers travelling in this beautiful city. Ever since we’ve opened, we have been overwhelmed by the reception and have welcomed over 60,000 guests from all over the world in such a short period of time. It’s shaped us into what we believe to be one of the best hostel in China.
We have always listened to our guests suggestions and it has continually allowed us to improve every aspect of our hostel. The last thing we wanted to be was another boring hotel in Guilin so we added a lot of great features to our hostel. We’ve installed a lovely bamboo garden in our outdoor courtyard, there’s a new pool table and Nintendo Wii in the lounge, a fully stocked liquor bar, good Wifi internet access and we’re probably the only hostel in China that has access to Facebook, Google, usw.. so guests could get in touch with friends and family back at home.
We have been running fun weekly events such as our famous All-You-Can-Eat BBQs every Friday, the Dumpling Party every Monday, and we’ve just recently added our Guilin City Cycle Tour on Thursdays. We also continue to offer great tours to Li River and Longji Rice Terraces to our guests.
What truly separates us from everyone else though is our fun and amazing staff that run Wada Hostel. Each member of Team Wada was carefully hand-picked for their talents, their exceptional English, and their strong desire to put a smile on everyone’s face.
We’ve been the most popular hostel ever since and it continues to help us achieve our high standard of service. We’ve climbed our way to the top spot on Hostelworld.com and the Lonely Planet Guide has even placed us in their latest edition simply because we offer the best value and service.
